is the requirement to run the software? IncrediFlash XTreme runs on any PC with one of these operating systems: Microsoft Windows 98/2000/XP. The minimum recommended system is Pentium III 800 with 256MB RAM. |
| Does
IncrediFlash XTreme save my photos, sounds, video and music when I
save my project? Yes, IncrediFlash XTreme will save all of your photos, sound, music and everything used by your project so you don't need to worry about deleting/modifying files (photo, sound, clipart, etc.) damaging your previously saved project. However, for video object, only the encoded video will be saved in order to minimize the file size and processing overheads. |

| Why do my images look blurry? Check the image compression settings. Lower quality compression will result in more blurry images. Also check the export compression settings, which set the global image and sound quality during publication. |
| Can the movie be saved as a DVD movie? Yes. You can save the movie as a DVD movie or AVI file. All the animation, sound and video will be preserved when making the DVD/AVI. |
| Can I save more than one movie in a DVD movie? Yes, you can save as many movies as you want. The only restriction is the disc capacity. |
| I can't seem to be able to make a DVD. The DVD burning process failed. What should I do? Please click here to troubleshoot this problem. |
| What are the benefits of storing a movie as a DVD compared to storing it as an autorun CD/DVD? As an autorun CD/DVD, the movie is saved as a Macromedia Flash file, hence if it has interactivity and navigation control, these will be fully functional. As a DVD movie, the movie is saved as a video file, hence it preserves all the animations but loses its interactivity features. |
| Why does the FTP upload process sometimes fail? Please make sure your antivirus/firewall does not block IncrediFlash XTreme. You can temporarily disable this to test the upload process. |
| I have added a pause action when clicking a button. Why does the sound keep playing when the button is clicked? Please make sure that the sound synchronization is enabled. |
| Why do some objects keep playing when the scene is paused? Objects which are set to be hidden at the start will have their own timing and will not be paused when the scene is paused. |
| I have a text effect attached to a text object. Why can't I drag the effect duration into the timeline window? A text effect duration cannot be adjusted by dragging it into the timeline window. The duration is automatically calculated from several factors such as speed, cascade delay and the number of characters. |
| Why doesn't the timeline show my sound waveform? The timeline only shows a sound waveform if the synchronization is enabled. There is no point in showing a wave-form for a non-synchronized sound as it will not be synchronized to object timing during playback. |
